Sometimes on purpose, sometimes because it�s just not a polished. The level of attention and detail to the game world is outstanding, and i love all the dialog you can hear between people in the game. First things first, i absolutely love the metro series. Fuck no, i recently played through it and the game is garbage, the characters are morons, the story is predictable, everything makes no fuckin sense, and it ruined the entire lore of the metro games.

If you’re at all interested in the story, play them in order (2033 > last light > exodus). Its good games like metro exodus that can stand the test of time. You have no dialogue options, and the main character never says anything (not bad) but you can choose to listen out to people, help them etc. I remember they were both pretty janky but i think i got both of them for $10.
